Is the app available for both iOS and Android?

Yes, we've released it for iOS and Android. Use the App Store and Google Play Store badges below to get the app! It's currently only available in North America, most of Europe, and Australia. If it's not available in your country then let us know and we can sort that out.

How frequently will the app be updated with new features?

We are always working to improve the app, and aim to release features and fixes to you as fast as possible. We do not use a "Release Schedule" so the frequency with which the app will be updated is based on how fast we can move each week. Is the app free to download and use?

Currently, yes. We've just started out and we're using the first few months to find out how we can best bring value to you! We recognise using a newly built app can be a bit hazardous at times and wanted to show our appreciation of you staying on board. As an "Early Adopter" , we would love to hear from you. Your feedback is the most important thing to us at the moment, and we would love to use it to help bring value to more people like you. Once we find our feet, we'll bring in a paid subscription so that we can continue to improve AviNet for you. See our Pricing page for more details.

Can I track my flights in the app?

We realised there were already a lot of tracking apps out there, and so decided not to reinvent the wheel ... yet. Instead, to post a flight on AviNet, you are able to upload a .gpx, .kml, .igc, or .onflight file. These are industry standard file formats and can be exported from most tracking applications such as ForeFlight and SkyDemon. Alternatively, you can use a data logger such as OnFlight Hub from Bolder Flight Systems. To find out how to upload a flight, check out our video on Loom.

How can I contact customer support, provide feedback, or report issues?

For customer support, please send us an email at support@avinet.app and we'll try our best to respond in a timely manner.

For feedback, bug reports, feature suggestions and anything else, please use the in-app feedback feature. This allows us to keep track of the nature and number of messages we are receiving, and make sure we are addressing the top ideas and issues as quickly as possible!

Is there a web version of the app available?

For the moment, we are not building a fully featured web version of the app. We felt our features were best delivered when on the move, and used in conjunction with whatever you are using to track your flights. 

If you'd like to upload a flight from your PC or desktop computer, you can head over to https://www.upload.avinet.app to do so. Simply log into your account and upload the file.

How can I delete my account and data?

If you navigate to the settings page of your profile, you will find a "Delete Account" button. This will permanently wipe all your data from our systems. Alternatively, feel free to get in touch with us at support@avinet.app or submit the Account Deletion form and we will gladly handle it for you.
